Ivy Zhang

Hello!

I am a fourth year PhD student in Statistics at Stanford University, where I am advised by Rob Tibshirani and Dominik Rothenhäusler. My research investigates the real-world challenges when deploying ML models, driven by problems I encounter in industry.

Before coming to Stanford, I spent 3+ years working in the biotech/pharma and wearables industries. These experiences motivate my current work on distribution shift and high-dimensional, sparse modeling.

I received my B.S. at University of Pennsylvania and M.S. at Yale University.
